Thanks for the support!

I would like to extend thanks to the folks at Art in Public Places, the office of the Mayor ProTem (Mike Martinez) and to his great staff (Bobby Garza, Laura Williamson, & Andrew Moore), Bill Davenport (Glasstire) for posting, as well as all of you who have signed and forwarded the petition (in which I urge you to not write any derogatory remarks about the city or APD!) Debbie Russell of the ACLU Austin Chapter, Abe Louise Young at the Austin Chronicle article, Matt for the KXAN News interview and KVUE's Noelle Newton in Austin, as well as , Vicky Garza Editor-in-Chief of Austin News and Todo Austin magazine. Also thanks to the Law offices of Hajaar/Sutherland/Kelly, Jana Ortega without whom I would be in a VERY difficult position . . . it seems the buzz has touched on something - perhaps after all of this passes it will be easier to make art in our neighborhoods.
